Job Description Primary Purpose
    • The Services Quality Manager is the internal key quality point of contact for Project Quality Management Project Quality Assurance within customer projects.
    • Create a quality vision and set-up a roadmap to achieve the same; drive quality initiatives in order to achieve organizational objectives
    Essential duties / responsibilities of the position:
    • Develop, maintain and monitor execution of project/customer specific quality plans which align with customer contractual requirements in cooperation with Project Manager.
    • Initializing, supporting and controlling issues and measures for quality improvement during the realization phase of customer projects.
    • Escalate process issues and projects decisions if quality requirements are affected.
    • Evaluate the project goals and facilitate teamwork within the project (including Customer and Suppliers), permitting the continuous site quality improvement.
    • Ensure pro-active Site Quality improvement actions, by analysing the project situation and by a close cooperation with the Project Team, Suppliers and Customer
    • Create Quality strategy for the account & Drive QIP for the account
    • Conducting Kick-off meeting in New circles/Product Launch on Quality Specifications
    • Attend customer meetings to represent the project on quality matters and manage professionally feedback from and to the customer.
    • Ensure project interfaces towards the respective NOKIA Environmental and Health & Safety groups.
    • Responsibility for project and operational level KPI / SLA reporting. Ensure the grade of quality is measurable in the project regarding cost, time and result.
    • Ensure adequate monitoring and randomly inspects Telecom site installation work to verify that the implementation is done according to Contracts (Customer & Suppliers), Customer specifications, Nokia standards & guidelines and Nokia work processes and Quality.
    • Supervise reporting, follow-up and corrective actions internally and from Suppliers.
    • Follow-up IPM Quality Module fulfilment. Ensure regular reporting to Project Manager, Suppliers and Country, Regional SiSo Management.
    • Assisting GPR team in New Vendor Selection & Vendor performance evaluation for existing vendors
    Customer Interface
    • To be present for Customer Interactions whenever Required
    • Prepare reports periodically to be sent to the client
    • Deal with escalation of decisions taken by Quality Team and ensure proper follow-up of the same
    • Conduct timely meetings within/outside team to ensure open communication and devise an action plan to address issues/ concerns raised.
    Root Cause Analysis & Improvement Projects
    • Supporting/Driving RCA for chronic issues
    • Using Quality methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma etc. for identifying & driving improvement
    QMS Support
    • Internal Auditor for QMS Systems like ISO9000,TL9000 ,ISO27001
    • Supporting global team s for external audits
    Competence Development
    • Training support for Subcontractors CoDE Program-PTID
    • Planning for PTID Trainings
    • OJT/Classroom training to subcontractors on frequent Punch points
    Quality Bulletin
    • Plans and organizes lessons learned and root cause analysis with Project and Suppliers in order to implement continuous improvement measures & actions thru Quality Bulletins
    Reporting & Reviews
    • Regular data analysis & Quality Dashboard / Monthly Report Preparation
    • QRM with Project team on Quality Issues
    Team Management
    • Guide, mentor & train the Quality Team.
    • Establish innovative systems and procedures for handling data & reports and continuously improvise on them
    • Measure performance of the teams for e.g. performance appraisals, confirmation and ongoing feedback and training
    • Build effective vertical and horizontal communication channels
    • Formulate long term plans for the development and motivation of the team
    • Provide efficient leadership to the team
    • To be a role-model for the Team in terms of performance/ behaviour/ attitude
    • Responsible for motivating the team
    Strength
    • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
    • Certified ISO/TL 9001 Trained Auditor or Lead Accessor
    • Trained for usage and implementation of 7 QC Tools
    • Experienced Telecom professional
