Responsibilities:Manage inventory levels & optimize stockholding costsLead SCM strategy development & implementationCollaborate with cross-functional teams on demand forecastingRole PurposeThe Head Supply Chain Management will be responsible for leading and driving the end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across the organization. The role will ensure seamless integration of demand planning, S&OP, procurement, production planning, SKU rationalization, inventory management, logistics, and customer fulfillment to achieve operational excellence, cost efficiency, and high service levels.Key Responsibilities1 End-to-End Supply Chain LeadershipDevelop and execute supply chain strategy aligned with business growth plans.Lead integrated planning across Demand, SOP, Procurement, PPC, Inventory, and Logistics.Drive synchronization between OEM demand, production capacity, and supplier capability.Ensure strong governance, process discipline, and data accuracy across supply chain functions.2 Demand Planning & Forecast ManagementEstablish robust demand forecasting models based on OEM schedules, historical trends, and market inputs.Improve forecast accuracy and bias management.Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Customers for rolling forecasts.Drive proactive risk mitigation for demand volatility.KPIs:Forecast Accuracy %Demand VarianceSchedule Adherence3 Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)Lead monthly S&OP process ensuring cross-functional alignment.Balance demand, supply, and financial plans.Drive executive S&OP reviews with leadership.Ensure capacity planning alignment with future demand.KPIs:Capacity utilizationRevenue plan alignment4 SKU Management & RationalizationOptimize SKU portfolio to reduce complexity and working capital.Drive SKU profitability analysis and phase-out strategy.Improve material planning accuracy at SKU level.Lead product lifecycle supply planning (NPI to EOL).KPIs:SKU rationalization indexObsolescence reductionSKU service level5 Inventory Management & Working CapitalOptimize RM, WIP, and FG inventory levels.Drive inventory turns improvement.Implement safety stock policies and inventory segmentation (ABC/XYZ analysis).Reduce excess and slow-moving inventory.Improve cash-to-cash cycle time.KPIs:Inventory TurnsDOH (Days of Inventory on Hand)Working Capital %Obsolescence %6 Procurement & Supplier ManagementLead strategic sourcing and vendor development.Ensure supplier OTIF, quality, and cost competitiveness.Implement dual sourcing and supply risk mitigation.Drive cost reduction through value engineering and negotiation.7 Logistics & Customer FulfilmentEnsure 100% OTIF to OEM customers.Optimize inbound and outbound logistics cost.Strengthen warehouse management and dispatch planning.Drive digital tracking and logistics visibility.8 Digitalization & Process ExcellenceImplement ERP/MRP optimization and planning tools.Use data analytics for performance tracking.Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.Build supply chain dashboards and MIS reporting systems.Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations.MBA in Operations / SCM preferred.15 - 25 years of experience in Supply Chain.Minimum 5 years in senior leadership role.Interested can send their updated resume to hrjobsconsultancy2020 at gmail dot com WhatsApp 8.7.0.0.3.1.1.6.1.8
