Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:1. Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition
    • Develop strategies for large-scale recruitment, staffing, and workforce deployment.
    • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and retention for supply chain, logistics, warehouse, and field employees.
    • Partner with staffing agencies, training institutions, and government programs to build a skilled workforce pipeline.
    2. HR Strategy & Business Alignment
    • Align HR policies and initiatives with the companys manpower and supply chain business objectives.
    • Implement workforce analytics and performance metrics to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
    • Lead HR initiatives to optimize labor productivity in warehouse, transportation, and distribution operations.
    3. Compliance & Labor Law Management
    • Ensure compliance with local and international labor laws, especially for contractual and migrant workers.
    • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and contract management for a large-scale workforce.
    • Develop policies to address labor rights, workplace safety, and ethical recruitment.
    4. Training & Development
    • Design skill development and safety training programs for blue-collar, mid-level, and managerial roles.
    • Collaborate with industry bodies and government programs for workforce upskilling.
    • Implement leadership development programs for supervisors and middle management.
    5. Performance Management & Employee Engagement
    • Develop KPIs and performance metrics for warehouse staff, drivers, field employees, and management teams.
    • Implement employee engagement programs to reduce attrition and improve productivity.
    • Design incentive structures for operational staff to improve efficiency and service quality.
    6. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
    • Foster an inclusive workplace culture across diverse geographies and employee levels.
    • Ensure ethical labor practices and fair treatment of employees at all levels.
    • Work with NGOs and regulatory bodies to enhance labor welfare programs.
    7. HR Technology & Digital Transformation
    • Implement HR tech solutions for workforce scheduling, payroll automation, and compliance tracking.
    • Utilize AI-driven analytics for workforce forecasting, absenteeism management, and performance tracking.
    • Enhance employee self-service platforms to improve HR efficiency.
    8. Change Management & Crisis Response
    • Lead change management initiatives for workforce disruptions, market shifts, and regulatory changes.
    • Develop contingency plans for workforce shortages, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
    • Ensure employee health and safety measures are in place, particularly for field and warehouse staff.
    Qualifications & Experience:Education:
    • Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Certifications in HR, labor law, or supply chain workforce management (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD) preferred.
    Experience:
    • 15 years of HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in manpower, supply chain, or logistics HR.
    • Strong background in large-scale workforce management and labor compliance.
    • Experience handling unionized labor, contract staffing, and international workforce deployment.
    Skills & Competencies:
    • Expertise in high-volume workforce planning and recruitment.
    • Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll management, and compliance.
    • Ability to implement HR technology for workforce efficiency.
    • Crisis management, problem-solving, and change leadership.
    • Business acumen and ability to align HR with operational goals.
