Job Description

    As a Psychologist (Evaluation & Assessment) at New Horizons Child Development Centre, your primary responsibility will be to conduct psychological evaluations and assessments of individuals across various age groups. You will be expected to utilize standardized assessment tools and techniques to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Your role will involve interpreting assessment results to inform diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention strategies. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment findings will be a crucial aspect of your work. Providing feedback to clients and their families regarding assessment results and recommendations is also an essential part of this role. It is important to stay updated with the latest research and developments in psychological assessment and evaluation to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.To qualify for this position, you should hold a Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology (Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, etc.) and have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in conducting psychological evaluations and assessments. Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized psychological tests is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Experience working with diverse populations would be considered a plus.Desired skills for this role include knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques, experience with diagnostic assessments for various psychological conditions, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
