Lead Government Liaising Officer

Job Description

Job opening for Lead Government Liaising Officer for reputed Education Sector at Mumbai & Navi Mumbai.
• Represent vision across geographies to establish importance of English as a second language as per NEP (National Education Policy) 2020.
• Build and maintain relations with all levels of State and District Government departments for high-potential collaborative projects. Be the focal point of contact for public officials/ policy think tanks/ policy makers/ institutes.
• Understand regional requirements and support Govt. stakeholders in co-creating initiatives aligned with vision.
• Maintain records/ data for smooth communication, develop and manage documentation in securing permissions, signing agreements, MOUs, etc.
• Create weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports to ensure timely implementation of projects
• Stay updated with risk mitigation and developments in officials change, public policies, new government schemes etc.
• Work closely with the team to ensure all admin and compliance functions are well executed
• Research and author high-quality white papers, open letters and policy briefs for a wide range of stakeholders
Education Qualification:
• Masters in Social work, Education or other relevant post graduate degree
Relevant experience:5-6 years in the development sector
• (Experience in education / academics is preferred)
• Excellent communications skills & Govt. Liaising experience is a must
