Were making history and the good news is that weve only just begun.About the RoleWe are looking for a creative, dynamic, and motivated Data Engineer to join the Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) Operations team. The mission of this team is to protect customer trust on Amazons stores worldwide by using statistical analysis. The ideal candidate thrives in working with large and complex data warehouse environments, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and is motivated by developing innovative and simplified solutions to solve complex analytical problems using very large data sets. The candidate is passionate about working with large data sets and bringing data together to answer business questions and drive change. These analyses and solutions will be fundamental to finding opportunities and creating new programs aimed at helping arrest abusive/bad actors on the Amazon platform faster.He/she will have a unique opportunity to closely partner with senior leaders and product, science, technology, and operations teams across the organization, driving programs that are critical to protecting our buyers and genuine sellers from bad actors. He/she will also play a critical role in influencing and shaping the organizations strategy and product roadmap.Key Job Responsibilities

• Architecture design and implementation of next-generation data pipelines and BI solutions
• Manage AWS resources including EC2, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda, Glue, Apache Airflow, etc.
• Build and deliver high-quality data architecture and pipelines to support business analyst, data scientists, and customer reporting needs
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources
• Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
