Job Description

Job Details : The Area Sales Manager needs to oversee the Sales Team. Hire Sales personnel as per sanctioned head count approval and maintain Field Sales Officer requirementParticipates in strategic planning to optimize the sales teams efficiencies and processes.Drive Retail sales and develop strong network of Distribution and FranchiseesAchieve signup and revenue targets and build a strong pipelineDrive Cross sell of value added products like DCC and Cash at POS to optimize revenue objectivesManage and provide leadership to Sales team Manage Team ProductivityMicro manage the team activities to ensure high levels of successConduct monthly and yearly performance reviews with team membersCoach and develop team members for future growthPerform daily reporting utilizing KPIs to gauge team efficiencyWork to maintain a high level of morale among team membersGive beat plans to the sales and relationship team and do ongoing supervision of duties assigned to the teamAllocate targets and assign territories/zones to the FOSDrive incentives/contests and ensure the team is motivated for achieve business objectiveImplement team building activities to create a healthy work environmentMotivate the team to achieve business objectives at all timesOversee team availability for proper management of inbound contact channelsIdentify and solicit new revenue growth opportunities.Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts and banking and Channel Partners & DistributorsDevelop new merchant services relationships through referrals from Bank centersManage merchant portfolio productivity and profitabilityMinimize inactivity and ensure high level of active merchantsControl debit balancesManage and supervise charge back and retrieval request Driving volume and optimizing fee & non fee generation from merchants.Ensure Merchant Retention & activation of inactive base. Merchant Training & Activation of the acquired merchantsTimely processing of application to ensure installation within the defined timelineEnsure strict adherence to KYC norms.Ensure Charge back & Dispute resolution in timely manner by the teamMerchant risk monitoring and fraud controlPublish sales MIS to management on timely mannerProvide market intelligence and do competition bench marking to prepare go to market strategies on ongoing basis
