Job Description

    * POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our firm is seeking a professional IT Business System Analyst with experience in both information technology and business administration. The successful applicant will serve as the liaison between the global Automation Solutions IT Teams, Business Unit IT, and business teams while supporting IT projects as well as daily monitoring and issue resolution. This senior-level candidate will also be responsible for providing Oracle solutions for business requirements related to enhancements and projects. A strong candidate will have 10 plus years of experience with Oracle Manufacturing and Shipping execution modules and will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly innovative, and can work in a fast-paced matrixed environment. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
    • Responsible for analysis, design, and implementation of new or enhanced business systems following IT standards.
      • Acts as a lead for system enhancements and project implementations especially manufacturing and Logistics.
      • Performs as a subject matter expert for system projects - Providing Oracle Solutions
      • Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed accurately and in a timely fashion
      • Responsible for development of business and IT requirement list including definitions and system flows.
      • Work with the technical analyst and development team to ensure that they understand the specifications.
      • Responsible for implementation including testing, readiness assessment, training, hardware capacity evaluation, and performance evaluation.
    • Provides daily production support including monitoring and issue resolution Project post-go-live and business unit-specific systems as required.
    • Understands operational processes related to Configured vs Raw material, Warehouse & Manufacturing Execution, and communications with other systems.
    • Identifies gaps in operations and presents solutions
    • Identifies system impact of changes from the internal business, end-user needs, external business environment (i.e., government regulation), and operating specifications.
    • Identifies opportunities for improving processes through system automation and alerts
    • Develops, submits, and seeks approval for business system change requests. Upon approval coordinates implementation.
    • Review s requirements and recommends solutions.
    • Creates and maintains documentation of assigned systems and process flow
    • Responsible for training other IT and Business team members
    , * SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business or related field
    • Experience: 10 plus years of related experience
    • Strong knowledge of Oracle Manufacturing modules is required. Modules preferred Inventory, Bills of Material and Engineering, Cost Management, WIP/BOM, ASCP Quality, and Purchasing.
    • Experience in an operational environment (Production, Logistics, Technology)
    • Prior experience in Work Order Planning Systems, Shipment Forecasting, Travel Cards, Labels, Level Loading, Warehouse compliance and serialization, distribution centers IT systems preferred.
    • A strong candidate will also understand the Oracle shipping execution modules and material flow processes including TRAX and Tradesphere.
    • Prior Emerson Measurement Solutions experience is strongly preferred.
    • Experience creating complex Oracle database SQL queries.
