Job Description

RolesResponsibilities

  • Able to understand andimplement Agile test strategy
  • Able to measure and report testprogress with respect to user stories
  • Should have a goodunderstanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
  • Be solution oriented with teammembers
  • Proactively acquire informationfrom Business Analysts/Product Owners/team members rather than relying onwritten specifications
  • Able to write testable userstories, keep critical, quality oriented and skeptical thinking of the product,should have eye for detail
  • Should be able to report defectsand collaborate with developers and programmers on resolution and re-test afterfix.
  • Testing reporting: Track and prepare the report of testing activities like testresults, test case coverage, required resources, defects/issues found and theirstatus
  • Document, implement, monitorand enforce all testing process as per standards defined by organization.
  • Updatestest results in real time as they are completed and ensures testing metricsdashboard are always current.
Skills& Experience Required
  • Candidate should have good communication skills
  • Understand user stories and test criteria to follow what needs to be tested
  • Should be able to write test scripts and test steps and document results
  • Should be able to execute all the test cases to meet acceptance criteria and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
  • Should have good observation to detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
  • Should be action oriented to pursue solutions if something is blocking the execution
  • A team player who can work with team members to get more understanding about testing scenarios when needed
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Should be able to work with Excel, MS Office and change management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps to prepare and track test results and outputs.
  • Knowledge of Quality Centre is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Strong motivation for learning functionality of Global Online Store is required, experience with online store is preferable
