Job Description

    • Research and resolve all database anomalies associated with production, backup, and clients UAT databases.
    • Review and execute all data fix scripts prepared by this role or supplied from development, implementation, and client support teams.
    • Review and Performance tune SQL queries (including Clover queries, UI queries, and queries created by client, testers, business/client analysts, delivery managers and the implementation team).
    • Performance tune databases, troubleshoot issues, and monitor index-advisories to identify Maintained Temporary Indexes (MTI), and coordinate with the development team to create permanent indexes to replace those MTIs.
    • Manage the IBM Query Option Default Table (QAQQINI), tuning as appropriate for the VXcis product.
    • Manage all issues associated with VXcis clients databases.
    • Maintain integrity of the clients production databases.
    • Clone, Refresh/Restore/Backup clients production databases.
