Job Description

    Company Overview:Our client is a leading broking company operating in Equity, Commodity, and Currency markets with a workforce of approximately 800 employees spread across more than 100 locations. Our client serves a customer base exceeding 3 lakh individuals and is a prominent player in the securities trading industry with a daily turnover close to 2,000 crore and a market share of 1%.Job Purpose:The Equity Advisor is responsible for acquiring and servicing large trader clients, executing transactions across various market segments, ensuring efficient order management, generating leads for third-party products, and coordinating with internal departments for smooth branch operations.Key Responsibilities:
    • Acquisition of Large Trader Clients:
    • Acquire new large trader clients monthly.
    • Ensure high-quality customer acquisition by adhering to segmentation norms.
    • Participate in Local Area Programs (LAP) for lead generation.
    • Collect margin cheques/stocks from clients timely.
    Strict Adherence to Deal Desk Process:
    • Operate trading software for various segments.
    • Ensure KYC and profiling of new clients.
    • Efficiently manage orders, execution, and reporting of trades.
    • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders for issue resolution.
    • Strictly adhere to risk & surveillance processes.
    Client Activation and Servicing:
    • Ensure new clients start trading within 7 days of account opening.
    • Facilitate clients in migrating from offline to online trading.
    • Provide seamless and single-point service to clients.
    • Ensure a specific number of clients are active daily.
    • Follow up with inactive clients to encourage trading.
    Cross-Selling Products:
    • Participate in training for other products.
    • Understand customer financial needs and generate leads.
    • Utilize products to activate inactive customers.
    Adherence to Surveillance and Risk Processes:
    • Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and mitigation strategies.
    • Manage trading terminals securely.
    • Confirm trades by end of day and ensure customer acknowledgment.
    • Monitor customer margins and advise accordingly.
    • Collect debits from clients on time and ensure terminal mapping.
    Self-Certifications:
    • Complete self-certifications mandated by exchanges and regulators.
    • Undertake periodic product and technical trainings.
    Key Result Areas:
    • Acquire new customers and generate broking revenues as per targets.
    • Strictly follow the Deal Desk Process.
    • Activate new clients for broking relationships and ensure seamless servicing.
    • Ensure adherence to surveillance and risk processes.
    • Complete self-certifications as per mandate.
    Education & Experience Requirements:
    • Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of dealing/execution and acquisition of large trader clients experience in the broking industry.
    • NISM VIII Series certification in Capital Markets/Derivatives is mandatory.
    Relationships:Internal:
    • Branch Head: Daily interaction for business updates, new clients, brokerages & revenues.
    • RM/FRM: Daily interaction for updates on onboarding, client data, revenues, etc.
    • CSEs: Daily interaction for support requirements.
    External:
    • Clients: Daily interaction for generating new leads, trading, product information, etc.
