Fleet Head - LogisticsRole Overview:We are looking for an experienced Fleet Head to lead and optimize trailer fleet operations across India.This role is responsible for ensuring efficient fleet utilization, cost control, regulatory compliance, and seamless logistics operations to support business objectives.The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in fleet management within the logistics industry, along with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency at scale.Key Responsibilities:1. Fleet Management- Oversee and manage the nationwide trailer fleet to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency- Monitor fleet performance and implement strategies to enhance productivity2. Operations & Logistics Coordination- Plan and execute fleet movements aligned with business requirements and customer timelines- Ensure timely deliveries and smooth coordination across locations3. Budgeting & Cost Control- Develop and manage budgets for fleet operations, fuel, maintenance, and repairs- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service quality4. Maintenance & Compliance- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and improve asset life5. Vendor & Supplier Management- Manage relationships with vendors for spare parts, fuel, insurance, and services- Negotiate contracts to achieve cost efficiency and service quality6. Driver Management- Oversee driver hiring, training, and performance management- Ensure compliance with safety norms and driving standards7. Technology & Automation- Implement and leverage fleet management systems, GPS tracking, and analytics tools- Use technology to improve visibility, tracking, and operational efficiency8.
