Job Description

* BASIC FUNCTIONProvide functional and technical support in the design, implementation and maintenance around the processes and technology for product configuration where Oracle and other systems are utilized.PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Minimum 4 years of Oracle 11i/12 technical and functional experience.
  • General functional and technical knowledge in product configurators such as Oracle Configurator Developer, Oracle Configurator
  • Basic working knowledge of Quote, Order Management, ATP, GOP, and Manufacturing where there are touchpoints in product configuration
  • Participate in design, configuration and testing of Oracle Applications
  • Strong knowledge/experience in Oracle Configurator and Configurator Developer including User Interface Design, Rules and Configurator Extensions
  • Identify critical problems and escalate appropriately
  • Ensure standards compliance and provide knowledge for standards development and change
  • Support Oracle problem investigation and problem resolution as directed
  • Ability to work within and outside of Emerson, such as vendors, contractors, etc.
, * PROFESSION SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication (oral and written).
  • Business process analysis and redesign experience: foundational business analysis skills, process mapping
  • Fundamental Systems implementation skills: work with core technical team members to ensure support of requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong knowledge/experience in Oracle Configurator and Configurat or Developer including user interface design, rules, configurat or extensions, and the use of Oracle s CIO APIs calls. CPQ knowledge a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle Applications 11i/12 modules (Configurat or, BOM, INV, OM, Quote, Advanced Pricing)
  • Development experience with SQL, PL/SQL
  • Understanding of Java, HTML, and JDBC
