Job Description

General Manager (Works) stationed at Chandigarh

  • Qualification: Candidate should be B.Tech / BE in Chemical Engineering with about 20 plus of years experience. Candidate from Agro Chemicals / Industrial Chemicals background preferred.
  • To be technically sound on Operations / Productions process at the Plant and all aspects of work and work force for operations.
  • Lead and development and empowerment locations Management Team.
  • Health safety environment and leadership of the management system which includes products and quality.
  • Should have knowledge on fix and variable cost / investments / planning / budgeting / reporting and good HR Skill for Management Team, Supervisor etc.
  • Active participation in developing long term strategy ranging from medium term to business goals and performance measures.
  • Should have good knowledge on interacting with Vendors, Suppliers on long term Capex needed for the Company.
  • Should have knowledge on SAP.
ALSO ADD
  • 1. Exposure / knowledge in manufacturing excellence area
  • 2. Experience in Automation of processes and knowledge of advance technology in chemical manufacturing area
  • 3. Prior experience of managing a medium to large size factory is must for 5 years
  • 4. Knowledge of all statutory norms pollution control board, environmental standards, factory management , hazardous product norms etc
  • 5. Exposure in managing the product technology (continuous improvement) like increasing yield, increasing batch volume, reducing process time
