Job Title: Guided Solutions Author / Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Business AnalyticsLocation: Remote / Work from Home Job Type: Freelancer Experience: 1-10 Years Industry: EdTech | E-learning | Academic Publishing | Digital LearningAbout the RoleWe are seeking highly skilled Guided Solutions Authors / Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)- Business Analytics Project to develop high-quality, student-facing guided solutions for academic textbooks. This role involves transforming textbook problems into clear, structured, and pedagogically sound step-by-step solutions that support student understanding and learning outcomes.All content must align with international academic standards and follow strict quality, structure, and compliance guidelines.This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work volume and performance-based incentives.Key Responsibilities
• Review assigned textbook problems to fully understand learning objectives, core concepts, and expected solution approaches.
• Develop 35 logically sequenced steps for each problem, each representing a clear reasoning or calculation unit.
• Write student-facing explanations that are clear, neutral, and easy to understand.
• Add 46 accurate and relevant primary keywords per problem.
• Ensure solutions strictly follow textbook logic without introducing alternate methods or new concepts.
• Maintain the exact framing of the problem (calculation-based, interpretive, comparative, or decision-oriented).
• Clearly show calculations step-by-step for quantitative problems, including rounding instructions.
• Add suggested tables, charts, and visual instructions where applicable to enhance understanding.
• Ensure every deliverable includes:
  • Problem Text & Statement
  • Step Titles & Explanations
  • Graphic Instructions
  • Optional Problem Introduction (only when context is required)
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong subject matter expertise in relevant academic domains
• Proven ability to create student-facing academic content
• Excellent written English and attention to detail
• Ability to break complex problems into simple, logical steps
• Experience in content authoring, solution writing, tutoring, curriculum development, or academic publishing
• Comfortable working with MS Word and structured templates
Preferred Qualifications
• Graduate / Postgraduate / Ph.D. in Business Analytics
• Prior experience with international curriculum, global publishers, or EdTech platforms is an advantage
• Experience working on textbook solutions, workbooks, or digital learning content
