Job Description

    *Job Title: HR Manager At Emerson, Human Resources (HR) is focused on understanding what people need and knowing how to provide it. We are in search of a qualified and resourceful HR Manager to support our HR function in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. Position Description and Responsibilities As an HR Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for managing an HR team of 3 - 4 professionals Learning & Development
    • Establishing strong partnerships with the business to gain understanding of current business issues and opportunities related to learning and development
    • Create and execute learning strategies and programs, aligned to Emerson values and employee needs
    • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
    • Conduct and Manage Emerson Global Learning, Talent Evaluation and Engagement Programs
    • Drive in house trainings (leadership, technical, behavioural)
    • Implement various learning methods (e.g., coaching, e-learning, hybrid, instructor-led training)
    • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
    • Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
    Engagement & Communication
    • Drive employee engagement programs, DE&I initiatives, employee connect programs
    • Maintains organizational communications such as intranet, bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge on latest updates, training and development events and resources
    • Manage employee communication forums, leadership communication forums
    • Maintaining budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants
    Operations
    • Ensure grievance resolution for various HR-related practices such as leaves, compensation and benefits
    • Ensure process adherence for online performance management system
    • Periodically review, document & implement relevant Human Resource policies
    • Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics, like employee attrition, headcount projections etc
    • Ensure efficient and secure employee data management
    • Ensure compliance with labour regulations and local statutory bodies
    • Assist in audit requirements by sharing data timely
    • Manage vendor relationships external vendors (Legal, PF, Gratuity, Insurance) contracts and agreements
    Qualifications and Requirements
    • Post-Graduation / Certification in Human Resources Management from a reputed institute
    • 12-15 years of relevant experience in HR Generalist Operations and Learning & Development roles
    • 5+ years of experience in managing a dynamic team of HR individuals
    • Experience of working in matrix, multinational IT organization structure. Shared service / captive center experience is preferred
    • Knowledge of HR system like HCM
    • Maintaining relations and renewing agreements with respective vendors
    • Active knowledge of local HR laws and compliances
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent people management skills and aptitude in problem-solving
    • Expertise in MS Office tools
    • Periodic travel between cities Pune and Mohali
