Job Description

  • Design, install, and configure servers and services platforms on popular Linux distributions (Redhat, CenOS, Ubuntu, etc.) in both on-premise cloud contexts.
  • Maintain, upgrade, and manage servers and related software, hardware, networks, and tools.
  • Design and implement monitoring, configuration management, and reporting functions for efficient and healthy infrastructure.
  • Ensure security through access control, backups, and firewalls.
  • Regularly document all processes and incidents on the infrastructure with technical insights, manuals, and IT policies.
  • Support developers with data insights, reports, analysis, and actionable recommendations regarding server infrastructure application processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues defects that affect system/application performance or infrastructure availability.
Skills Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong experience with NGINX, Apache, Tomcat services related packages/tools/frameworks like PHP, Python, Laravel, Magento, etc.
  • Strong experience in designing, deploying, configuring, and optimizing databases like MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL in on-premise/cloud contexts.
  • Strong experience on Cloud Computing Technologies, especially on Amazon Web Services (AWS) stack/offerings like EC2, RDS, security groups, etc.
  • Good knowledge experience of networking services and configurations.
  • Experience with CDN services like Cloudflare, CloudFront.
  • Experience with dockerisation DevOps stack components like Jenkins, Git.
  • RHCE, RHCSA, AWS or similar certification (preferred).
  • Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills.
