Cloud operation Engineer will play an important role in the support of Basware s production systems. Person is responsible with the daily assigned tasks, related to application monitoring, infrastructure monitoring or customers invoice flows monitoring, ensuring the proper functionality of both Basware application environments, pre-production and production.
The Cloud operations engineer should have the knowledge and the capabilities to identify a bug in the system that must be reported to the RD department, ensuring that the customer is periodically informed about the status of the problem
This member will also participate in the development of new processes in both a supporting role as a well in a coordination/lead role on selected projects.
Additionally, this member may be called upon to both support and manage critical production events
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our colleagues in production support, deployment as well as with Research Development, and other specialist teams, in a dynamic international environment.
Skills RequirementsOur cloud applications are hosted on top of AWS Public Cloud and are used by our clients all around the world. We develop our applications by using technologies like Angular, TypeScript, .NET, Python, Java and RabbitMQ.
We use following state-of-the-art tools to develop and deliver our applications into production: Git, Stash, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Robot Framework, Selenium, and Docker.
We also follow modern DevOps culture in everyday work we do and utilize DevOps practices like continuous integration and continuous delivery in building our Microservice based applications.
4-5 years of experience in the Cloud operations/Saas Model
Should have good knowledge of Oracle, SQL and MongoDB.
Flexible to work in Rotational shifts(24x7x365)
Hands on experience implementing SSO
Hands on experience implementing VPN
Should have experience on working and implementing certificates.
Should have good knowledge of Linux and Windows.
Problem solving, problem description, communication, collaboration, and reporting experience
Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Splunk etc
Hands on experience on AWS
Hands on experience on scripting.
AWS/ITIL certified is additional
