Job Description

  • Deal directly with customers, identify their needs, romance the merchandise and close sales
  • Track your closing ratio and make sure that it is consistently good
  • Take Orders for pieces that are either not in stock or not available in the right size
  • Take-in Repairs by following all the steps carefully
  • Follow up with clients on repairs, orders
  • Meet every deadline and keep every promise you make to your client
  • Displaying jewelry every morning in its designated spot and placing it back in the vault at end of day
  • Cleaning the jewelry every time you remove jewelry from a case or are putting it back
  • Use Gloves at all times when handling jewelry
  • Polki Jewelry must be handled carefully. Please read its handling manual carefully
  • Ensure smooth and quick billing of the client s purchase
  • Keeping the counters well-organized with all the essentials in their designated space
  • Displaying jewelry appropriately i.e. accounting for lighting, position, elevation etc.
  • Keeping display material clean and dust-free
  • Ensuring that the jewellery is displayed in the best manner possible in the case
  • Participate actively in all learning initiatives
  • Improve your sales skills consistently to improve your closing ratios
  • Improve your soft skills to better manage your relationships with clients
  • Give feedback about the programs and if you have any of your own ideas, share
  • Follow the rules and procedures as laid out in the manual given to you
  • Do not allow tardies to collect on your record; be known for your good behaviour
