Job Description

  • Utilizing Microsoft ALM solution (MTM, Visual Studio, C#, TFS) develops an automation framework to enable testing of .NET n-tiered systems and applications by the organization.
  • Can create automation framework to test at multiple application layers including web, services and database.
  • Develop new methods and extend existing Microsoft ALM solution (MTM, Visual Studio, C#, TFS) framework for automated testing.
  • Active participation in testing cycle of the software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, prototyping, design review, test case reviews) using Agile Methodology.
  • Contributes to the evolution of automated testing tools and framework.
  • Working closely with Product Management, Program Manager, Development Team and Support teams to create and deliver a quality-focused QA deliverables.
  • A minimum 3 years of Automation experience using script based automation tool such as CodedUI/Selenium with C# as scripting language or non-script based automation tool such as TOSCA.
  • Interprets product design and requirements to engineer test approach and generates test plans and test cases/scripts along with its review.
  • Experience coding Unit Tests/Integration Tests/System Tests/Regression Tests and test execution in an automation framework.
  • Experience in writing quality bug reports. Experience in creating Quality Management System (QMS) documentation as per organization quality standards.
  • Good Knowledge of My SQL and ability to write complex queries.
  • Experience working with large scale RDBMS
  • Develops automated scripts using C# to increase support efficiency
  • Proficiency with web technologies and data structures HTML, CSS, XML, DOM
  • Understands Agile Methodologies
  • Analysis of business requirements
  • Very Good verbal and written communications skills, and able to communicate very technical subject matter to non-technical users
  • Experience in automated testing of healthcare software system.
  • Experience using Team Foundation Server and Microsoft Team Manager for Test Management, is preferred.
