Job Description

* Sr. Data Analyst (Power BI) Job Summary: The incumbent in this position would be responsible for PowerBI Support and development activities. In this role one need to interact with customers for understanding requirements and providing optimal visualization solution. Required Skills and Experience:
• 4-7 years of experience working with PowerBI Desktop and PowerBI Service
• 2-3 years of experience in SQL Server and in-depth knowledge of SQL queries
• Ability to deliver complex business solution with minimal supervision
• Experience working with various data source like Oracle, SQL Server, MS-Access, SharePoint
• Strong experience in writing DAX expressions in Power BI
• Should be able to handle the performance of the dashboard and apply incremental refresh concepts
• Strong exposure on implementing the security model including Row Level Security (RLS)
• Should be able to work on data-model, apply relationship between tables as per requirement
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts like star/snowflake schema, SCD etc. is a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Flexible to work in 24x7 environment
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Understand complex business requirements and deliver analytical solutions in PowerBI
• Working directly with Business users to understand reporting requirement and provide optimal solution
• Define/Improve processes to improve system performance and efficiency
• Responsible for handling tier 3 support tickets and providing resolution within defined service level agreements
• Responsible for maintaining PowerBI application 24x7
• Responsible for handling new developments as well as enhancements for existing dashboards
• Responsible for managing and administrating various Sites on PowerBI Server
• Responsible for Power BI capacity s artifacts review and gateway creation
• Would be working with functional mangers to provide optimal solutions to business problems
