Job Description

    *If you are a System Architect looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in any of our Emerson facility locations in Mohali, Chandigarh, you will be r esponsible for creating a comprehensive architecture for software solutions and providing direction throughout the development process for the Configurator and Product Lifecycle Management service area. AS a System Architect, YOU WILL:
    • Participate in the planning, definition, and high-level design of solutions and exploration of solution alternatives
    • Enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline through appropriate design guidelines and investment advocacy
    • Actively participate in the Continuous Exploration process as part of the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, especially with enabler Epics
    • Communicate the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborate and coordinate with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.
    • Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements
    • Define, explore, and support the implementation of enablers to evolve solution intent, working directly with Agile teams to implement them
    • Plan and develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities
    • Provide oversight and foster Built-In Quality and Team and Technical Agility

    , * REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
    • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or related work experience required
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience related to IT or other information technology systems architecture role
    • 10+ years of experience in IT domain.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs
    • Technical training preferred.
    PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
    • Experience with PLM and Configurator solutions strong plus
    • Experience in the manufacturing industry
    • Azure DevOps (especially Repos, Pipelines)
    • Azure CI/CD pipeline deployment
    • Azure Container Registry (ACR)
    • Azure server infrastructure (Windows VM, SQL Server, Azure Blob Storage, etc.)
    • NodeJS (version 16.13.1)
    • ReactJS (version 17.0.2)
    • Windows PowerShell scripting
    • Python
