Overall Position Summary

• Owns Estimation, Development and Delivery of feature sets for Quark Enterprise Solution clients
• Owns timely deployment of assigned Solution with Quark Quality Standard parameters
• Ensures Post Go Live Support is as per SLA
• Has clear understanding of Quark product suite capabilities and its consumption in customized solutions
• Closely collaborates with Project Managers in implementing solutions as per committed timelines with high quality
• At any given time need to work on more than 1 active project and contribute to the best coding practices and scalable and robust design.
• Mentor team in best coding practices
• Attend all N+1 meeting and participate in PBI scoring, and Sprint planning
• Is able to identify and bridge gaps between customer expectations and product offerings
• Demo Certified
• Full time position based in Chandigarh

I. Key Metrics for Success

• Implementation - Modularized, Reusable and Maintainable code. Participates in Scoring of Stories, Scoping and delivery as per the Sprint planning.
• Quality Ensure assigned project meet Quality standards without apparent oversights, minimal defects and Integration issues by laying emphasis on processes and procedures. Ensure throughout the SOW development phase achieve a score of min of 8 from customer on both parameters On Time and On Quality
• Delivery Deliver Solution deployment within time lines agreed with Project Manager.
• Customer Support Post deployment of solution ensure all tickets (excluding new feature) are resolved as per SLA
• Peer Code Review Ensures does a code review of peers and juniors on timely manner and co-own the quality of the code
• Solution Adaptation: Work with client to ensure the solution is made as per customer expectation and post deployment customer is using at least 70% of license purchased.
• Service Billable Hours: Adhere and burn service billable as per contract commitment

Responsibilities

• Deliver releases as per customer plan with high quality and minimal side-affects/defects
• Implement enhancements in Web Author or Quark XML Author as per SOW
• Aggregation of meta based on different parameters
• Own the code quality and stability for project
• Own Code review for changes done to assigned projects
• Continuously reviews code and come up with best practices for team members
• Implementation of new features and upgrade of EIs for existing projects.
• Deliver Renditions as per agreed Template
• Deliver Integrating with external systems as per SOW
• Ensure code is robust and can help in new feature addition with least cost
• Delivers code which is optimized and passes performance tests as per SOW standards

2. Key Duties Responsibilities

• Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Subject matter expert on both domain and companys products.
• Works on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies. Often serves as consultant to management and external spokesperson for the organization. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Manages communication with geographically distributed teams
• Participate/Deliver Demos, conducts troubleshooting sessions
• Work directly with Architect and share best practices with assigned customers
• Attend all N+1 meeting and participate in PBI scoring, and Sprint planning
• Ability to deliver product/solution training to internal and external stakeholders
• Encourages and mentors team towards following best practices
• Learn new technologies and conduct Knowledge Sharing Sessions

Required Qualification Skills

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/ME/MTech from premier institute and with 5-8 years of industrial exposure
• Should be fluent in Core Java JavaScript. Expertise in JSP, Ajax and other web technologies / frameworks development (spring)
• Strive towards upgradation of technical/soft skills
• Expertise in cross-browser development
• Deep understanding of overall systems development life cycle including various methodologies (agile, waterfall, iterative)
• Should be technically contributing to 1+ active projects at any given time
• Exposure to TFS and MS Build or equivalent systems
• Experience with open source technologies and object-oriented design
