Job Description

A Well Testing Operators primary responsibility is to conduct and oversee various tests on oil and gas wells to assess their performance and ensure safe and efficient operations. They set up and operate specialized equipment, collect data, and report findings, working to optimize well output and maintain safety standards.Key Responsibilities: Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Setting up, operating, and maintaining well testing equipment, including flow lines, separators, meters, pumps, and down hole tools.Data Collection and Analysis:Monitoring well performance during tests, collecting data like pressure, flow rates, and temperature, and recording observations.Reporting and Communication:Preparing and submitting daily reports on well performance, gas and/or liquid volume, well pressure, and chemical usage.Safety Compliance:Ensuring all operations are conducted safely and in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.Troubleshooting:Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during well testing.Wellhead Maintenance:Assisting with wellhead maintenance operations, including inspection, maintenance, and repairs.Teamwork and Collaboration:Working effectively with other crew members and supervisors to ensure efficient and safe operations.Training and Development:Participating in training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge related to well testing.Material Management:Managing materials and supplies related to well testing operations.Equipment Preparation:Assisting with the preparation of equipment for well testing operations, including rigging up and rigging down procedures.
