Job Description

An individual will be responsible in providing technical support to front office electronic trading application in the Electronic Trading domain.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to the various data requestqueries that users on the trading desk may have for the Electronic Trading team
  • Day to day health checks and monitoring of readiness status of Electronic Trading applications
  • Deployment of daily changes in the Electronic Trading stack as per business requirements
  • Troubleshooting Electronic Trading issues in real time escalation to Devsupport teams as needed
  • Maintain adequate communication with project teams globally and in India, explaining progress andor potential roadblocks on the various projectsinitiatives assigned to the individual.
  • Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to the layout, functionality as well as process
  • Work with business teams and downstream application developers to frame client configstweaks so as to translate desired business functionality into working configs
  • Management of monitoring environment, tracking of alerts, resolving the issues and overall alert reduction
  • Maintenance of project level documentation to ensure production support procedures are up to date.

Requirements

Education: B.E. B. TechM.E. M. TechB.Sc.M.Sc.BCAMCA (prefer ITCS specialization)

Certifications, If Any: Not Mandatory

Experience Range: 4 6 years

Mandatory skills:

  • Experience in Autosys, Unix, Shell Scripting
  • Basic XML knowledge, basics of networking and knowledge of electronic trading
  • Experience in L2 Production support along with an understanding of ITIL framework
  • Communication skills
  • Knowledge of FIX protocol will be good to have
