As a Hiring partner we are hiring for below full time and direct hire position for Product and infrastructure organization.interested and eligible candidates can share the profile at : hidden_emailRole : Global Identity Architect and Engineering Head-Director (15 Yrs)# Purpose :This role will act as the technical subject matter expert (SME) in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)with a specific focus on OpenIAMand Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. The successful candidate will oversee both solutions engineering and security engineering for identity-related topics and deliver hands-on technical configurations, implementations, and development activities.Roles and Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:
• Define and drive the global strategy for Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a focus on integrating OpenIAM into the enterprise IAM and PAM ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for IAM technologies, including Active Directory, Entra ID, OpenIAM, and PAM solutions.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure identity initiatives meet operational, security, and compliance requirements.
• Architecture and Engineering:
• Act as the principal architect for Active Directory, Entra ID, OpenIAM, and PAM solutions, ensuring robust and scalable designs.
• Lead the implementation and engineering of secure OpenIAM systems, configuring role-based access control (RBAC), fine-grained policies, and automated workflows.
Operational and Technical Excellence:
• Serve as a hands-on technical expert for configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting IAM solutions, particularly OpenIAM components such as user lifecycle management, self-service portals, and access recertification.
• Develop and maintain identity workflows using OpenIAM, ensuring efficient joiner, mover, and leaver (JML) processes.
• Implement advanced analytics within OpenIAM to optimize identity governance.
• Drive the development of integrations between OpenIAM and critical systems through custom connectors using OpenIAMs APIs and SDKs.
• Design and enforce automated security controls, monitoring, and recertification processes for identity systems.
Development and Customization:
• Build, test, and deploy custom connectors and integrations for OpenIAM, ensuring compatibility with enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Leverage scripting and development expertise (e.g., Java, Python, or PowerShell) to customize OpenIAM workflows and extend platform functionality.
• Collaborate with the OpenIAM product team to influence and adapt platform features for organizational needs.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
• Lead and mentor a small global team of solution engineers and developers, fostering expertise in OpenIAM and related technologies.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with security, IT operations, and application teams to deliver holistic IAM solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance during audits, assessments, and incident response activities.
• Security Engineering:
• Design and implement robust identity security controls, focusing on protecting critical infrastructure such as Active Directory, Entra ID, and OpenIAM.
• Proactively assess and mitigate identity-related risks, including detection and response to attacks targeting identity systems.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems for privileged account misuse or compromise.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
• 10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with a strong focus on Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), IGA, and PAM.
• Proven experience with the OpenIAM platform, including deployment, customization, and integration with enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement large-scale IAM architectures and solutions, including hybrid identity models.
• Hands-on experience in engineering, configuring, and troubleshooting OpenIAM and other IAM systems.
• Strong background in security engineering and governance for identity systems.
• Technical Skills:
• Expert knowledge of OpenIAM, including user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), policy management, and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Active Directory (on-prem and hybrid), Entra ID, and PAM tools.
• Strong development skills (e.g., Java, Python, PowerShell) to build custom connectors and extend OpenIAM functionality.
• Experience with identity lifecycle automation, advanced analytics, and OpenIAM reporting tools.
• Deep understanding of authentication standards such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
• Familiarity with zero-trust architectures and identity security best practices.
