Job Description

    A Boiler Operator is tasked with a range of essential functions critical for the smooth and safe running of boiler systems. The primary duties include monitoring the operation, maintenance, and repair of boiler systems. Operators are expected to regularly inspect equipment, monitor temperature and pressure readings, conduct routine cleaning, and ensure that systems are operating efficiently and safely. In emergency situations, the Boiler Operator must promptly resolve issues to prevent operational disruptions or safety hazards.DutiesSpecific duties of a Boiler Operator usually encompass the following:
    • Maintaining and repairing boiler equipment and all associated components.
    • Regularly testing boiler water and making necessary adjustments to chemicals to prevent corrosion and harmful deposits.
    • Keeping detailed records of inspections, maintenance routines, and repairs.
    • Ensuring compliance with state and local safety regulations and guidelines.
