Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager/Senior Manager Finance& Accounts will be responsible for overseeing of all Finance, Accounting,Reporting and Compliance activities. He/ She will be also responsible for all IRDAreporting & be the Point of Contact for all IRDA inspection. The candidate will beresponsible for presenting quality accounts & ensure timely & accurate Recon ofRevenue Responsible for Finalization of Accounts, Preparation and Presentation ofFinancial Statements. Responsible for Revenue Reconciliation & follow up on o/s payments due Responsible for all investments in line with the Investment policy of the Co. Consistently analyzing of financial data and presenting financial reports in anaccurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, andannual financial statements; monitor progress, changes and keep seniormanagement abreast of the financial status. Responsible for preparation of Budget and monthly reports. Assistingleadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; administering andreviewing all financial plans and comparing to actual results with a view toidentifying, explaining, and correcting variances as appropriate. Trend analysis of Income and Expenses of all products / Business Functions. Ensure sanctity of accounts and provisions shown in the financial statements. Supervise and monitor collection/receivables and remittance of tax and filingof returns, issue of TDS certificates etc. Advice Management regarding Tax planning. Closely work with internal/ statutory auditor and ensure smooth auditing ofaccounts. Managing organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership withthe COO/Functional Heads. Responsible for Fund Management. Ensure that all the product transactions accounted, are properly accounted inthe books of the company, and ensure proper reconciliation. Supervise and give advice and guidance in the case of un-reconciled items. Identify Automate end-to-end workflow / process related to Finance andAccounts. Ensure proper maintenance of Asset Register. Liaison and interact with Group Company, Functional Line Managers in regardto Finance and Accounts requirement. Maintaining internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs,budgets and actual expenditures. Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliancewith all statutory provisions with regard to IRDA, Income Tax Act andCompanies Act etc. Ensure timely regulatory Updation/ filing within timelines and Maintainappropriate standards/ regulatory requirements.
