Job Description

-

  • Responsible for co-ordinating on a day to day basis with R&D Engineers / Project Managers / Designers / Manufacturing Teams / Suppliers to get the datasheet information on the Electronic & Electric components till the final production data is release to Master library
  • Identifies the area of conflict between New component request & Existing Specifications
  • Should CREATE the Logical Symbol, define pin name , type , map & other properties , VERIFY the symbol & CHECK-IN appropriately
  • Should CREATE the physical symbol Define land pattern, shapes for DFM/DFA/ DFT and other necessary properties
  • Should be capable to Generate the Shapes for the Physical parts & determine the component type
  • interpret specification drawings and calculate dimensions for PCB CAD component footprint model definitions
  • Interprets HP standards & guidelines as applicable to part requests & effectively utilizes the same for classifying components according to HP predefined rules
  • All the classified part should be 100% Quality compliance & should be done well before the agreed overall TAT
  • 100% Customer / Stakeholders satisfaction to be maintained on a day to day work
  • Capability to recommend continuous improvement on the classification process & ability to learn new process changes
Job Requirements & Skills Required :-
  • Candidate should be holding a BE or DEEE from a recognized University / Institutions
(Electronics & Electrical Engineering stream only)
  • 5 to 10 years of Experience in a PCB / PCA Manufacturing organisation is a must
  • Proven track record of Quality output in the previous organisation
  • Deep understanding & Expertise in PCB / PCA Component engineering is required
  • Experience with using the EDM/Cadence Allegro PCB CAD application or similar tools is required
  • Expertise in one or more of these areas: analog, mechanical, SIC/PAL/PLD, PC board, power system, or high-level system design; computer server and I/O technologies, micro-processing, CAD tools/languages (Cadence, Mentor, Solid Designer)
  • Rich experience with DFM, DFA
  • Should be a Good Team player / Quick leaner / Able to adopt to changing business needs/ Self motivated / Commitment / Dedicated to the task at hand
  • Basic knowledge in Excel / ppt & Fluency in English
