Job Description

Our integrated solutions offering is aimed at creating value for our customers, helping them in improving their business processes with minimum hassles and capital outlays.The Role:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to ensure the accuracy and compliance of data entry for international freight transcripts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of freight operations, shipping documentation, and brokerage processes.Key Responsibilities:
    • Audit Data: Conduct thorough quality checks on data entered that includes bills of lading, invoices, customs documentation, and cargo details, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Review data to confirm adherence to set compliance procedures. Flag any discrepancies and ensure corrections are made in a timely manner.
    • Identify Trends and Areas for Improvement: Analyze data entry performance, identify common errors or inefficiencies, and work with the team to implement corrective actions or process improvements.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed reports on data entry errors, trends, and audit findings. Provide recommendations to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with Data Entry Team: Work closely with data entry specialists to provide feedback on performance and share best practices. Offer guidance and training to ensure continuous improvement in data entry quality.
    • Brokerage Knowledge Application: Use your knowledge of brokerage operations to verify that international shipping documentation (e.g., customs forms, tariffs, bills of lading) aligns with the data and meets regulatory standards.
    • Error Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors in the data, liaising with other departments (e.g., operations, brokerage, and compliance teams) as needed to ensure accurate resolutions.
    Skills Required:
    • Basic understanding of brokerage operations and international shipping documentation (e.g., customs documents, bills of lading, invoices).
    • Familiarity with freight and logistics documentation such as shipping manifests, customs clearance, and tariffs.
    • Ability to conduct detailed audits and identify discrepancies in complex data sets.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to provide feedback and interact with the data entry team and other departments.
    Qualifications & Experience:
    • Bachelors degree in a related field.
    • 2 to 3 years of experience as a Quality Analyst or in a quality control/assurance role, ideally in data entry or logistics operations.
    • Familiarity with financial market data, financial statements, and brokerage systems.
