The ideal candidate must possess experience in ETL tools like: DataStage 9.x onwards and strong in Data Quality and Data Warehousing concepts. The candidate must be proactive and good in communication Responsibilities: As a DataStage Developer, you will Collaborates with other counterparts to explore existing systems, determine areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learn the applications capabilities, explore new ways to bring value to customer to continual improvement by suggesting improvements, software architecture or new technologies Develop and Implement Code based on the requirements and design provided by lead Involve in the creation of dimensional schema design including dimension tables, fact tables and aggregate tables Create IBM-DataStage parallel jobs to extract and reformat the source data so it can be loaded into the new data warehouse schema Write and maintain unit test on all development Requirements: Overall 4+ years of experience on DataStage Should have experience in ETL tools like: DataStage 9.x onwards Must have experience in Shell scripting Good to be strong in Data Quality and Data Warehouse and Data Stage 9.x Should have work experience in design, development and support of various DataStage applications Proactive and good in communication Nice to have experience in Agile methodology will be added advantage Knowledgeable/hands on experience in Test Driven Development Experience in Scrum methodology Troubleshooting of Data Stage jobs and addressing production issues like performance tuning and enhancement Good to have analytical and problem-solving skills Key Skills: DATASTAGE Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Cochin, Trivandrum Required Experience: 4-8 yrs Positions: 1,
