Job Description

A Farm Supervisor, oversees daily farm operations, managing staff, and coordinating crop cultivation and livestock care to ensure efficiency and productivity. Key responsibilities include planning activities like planting and harvesting, maintaining machinery and facilities, monitoring for quality and safety compliance, keeping accurate records, and training farm workers on best practices and safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:Oversees the cultivation, planting, and harvesting of crops, as well as the feeding, care, and breeding of livestock. Manages and trains farm workers, assigning tasks, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely. Develops and implements operational plans for crop rotation, pest management, and other agricultural strategies. Monitors the maintenance and repair of farm machinery, equipment, buildings, and facilities. Maintains accurate records of farm conditions, production, equipment, and other operational issues, preparing reports as needed. Ensures adherence to proper safety and sanitation standards and monitors for compliance with health and safety regulations. Manages inventory and resources, ensuring timely requisition of equipment and materials. Ensures compliance with local agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
