Job Description

    Responsibilities:- Significant experience in credit decisions at a fintech or NBFC, with a focus on rural /MSME /unsecured lending.- A strong understanding of MSMEs as well as rural supply chains and macroeconomics.- The ability to work with business heads to structure complex deals and crucial relationships while negotiating credit terms with the relevant stakeholders is mandatory.- The candidate should have demonstrated experience in leading and growing a team.- Success in managing cross-functional relationships at various levels from analyst to CXO a plus.- Ability to analyze the macroeconomic environment and reduce portfolio risk is very desirable.- Daily activities include reviewing credit proposals from credit managers, mentoring credit analysts and managers, chairing Credit Committee meetings, and providing credit opinions.Education and Experience:- 8-12 years of experience in Credit Risk/Underwriting at a fintech or NBFC is required.- CA / MBA / CFA / Bachelors degree in a relevant field along with certifications in Credit Risk or Financial Analysis desired; Masters degree preferred but not mandatory.
