Job Description

    HiWould you be interested in career change as a REMOTE Full Stack Java Developer (Advanced Core Java) for our USA based client The job is completely remote in India, and has flexI-time availability due to INDIA & USA timings.Full Stack Developer (Remote/Offshore position)We are looking for Full StackDeveloper with strong back-end expertise for our product. You will have the opportunity to design and develop a large-scale SOA based system in the domain of campus wide physical access and security. This system is built around high end proprietary wireless lock and tracking capability. You will also have an opportunity to understand the product from an end-to-end perspective and work on various levels of the product. The emphasis is on security, scalability, performance and maintenance. You will not only support the current product but will closely work with upper management on upcoming new products. We take only the best of waterfall and agile methodologies and improve our productivity tremendously.Responsibilities include but are not limited to design, develop and support well architected java applications in a Service-Oriented-Architecture that satisfy both functional and non-functional requirements such as reliability, scalability, ease of deployment and supportability. Develop reusable, efficient code that follows the current style of development and lends towards continuous development. Document and troubleshoot defects as required to support this highly sensitive security application. Investigate new technologies and incorporate current design. Document at every step - design, implementation and testing.Must have Skills
    • Strong in Algorithms and Data structures
    • Core Java concepts
    • Basic DB concepts
    • Unit testing
    Desired Technology experience
    • Java 8+ advanced concepts is highly recommended
    • Docker and Kubernetes are highly recommended
    • Wildfly, Kafka, Rabit MQ is highly desirable
    • Experience with AWS is a plus
    • Angular/JQuery/HTML5/CSS is a plus
    • Functional Programming is a plus
    • Basic use of Linux is a plus
    Requirements BS or MS in Computer Science EngineeringFor 3+ years of relevant industry experience:
    • Very good problem-solving skills
    • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
    • Advanced Java concepts (Lambdas, Streams, etc)
    • Multithreading concepts
    • 1+ years Backend experience
    For 0-3 years of industry experience:
    • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
    • Core Java concepts (Maps, Sets, Lists)
    • Basic database concepts
    First round of interview will include coding problems on basic data structuresOther Requirements : 1. Good communications skills2. Has previously executed at least one full stack project 3. Location : Anywhere in India, may need to travel if required. Remote working is also allowed as long as the pandemic situation persists with company approved laptops. Some work time adjustment to collaborate with client in USA time zone is solicited.4. Willing to travel abroad if required.5. Full-time6. Should be a good listener and be able to work effectively in a team across different time zones as an active participant7. Should be a proactive individual and be able to work independently with minimal hand holding over a period of time.
