Medical Coding involves converting healthcare service-related text information into numeric Diagnosis Codes (ICD-10 CM) and Procedure Codes (CPT). Medical Coders play a vital role in the healthcare industry by ensuring accurate documentation and billing for medical services.Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately assign medical codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures using ICD-10 CM and CPT code books.
• Review and analyse healthcare documentation for coding accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with all coding and billing regulations.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient records.
• Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify documentation.
Requirements:
• Educational Background:
  • Any Graduate (Life Science & Non-Life Science)
• Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of Anatomy and Physiology.
• Skills:
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
• Certification (Preferred):
  • CPC Certification (or willingness to obtain it).
