Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Engage with government customers and departments that align with the companys offerings.
    • Research and qualify leads through RFQs, RFPs, and government procurement platforms.
    • Knowledge of the GeM Portal is required.
    • Promote products or services to government clients via calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
    • Develop customized sales proposals and bid responses tailored to government requirements
    • Understand and address government compliance regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, contracting officers, and purchasing agents in government organizations.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for government accounts, ensuring excellent customer service.
    • Work closely with contracts, legal, and marketing teams to ensure accurate and compliant proposals.
    • Collaborate with field sales and business development teams to align sales strategies for government clients.
    • Track sales activities, pipeline status, and results.
    • Provide regular updates on progress, opportunities, and challenges in the government sales sector.
    • Meet or exceed sales quotas and performance goals specific to government accounts.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the government sector or B2G (Business-to-Government).
    • Familiarity with government procurement processes, contracts, and compliance requirements.
    • Strong understanding of RFQs, RFPs, and other government procurement methods.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (should be fluent in English and Hindi)
    • High attention to detail and organizational skills for managing complex sales cycles.
    • Self-starter with a results-driven mind-sets.
    • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and adapt to changing policies.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address government-specific challenges.
