This role will involve close liaison with both Finance Change colleagues as well as colleagues in Reporting Operations interacting with the Reporting Owner for the Liquidity Regulatory Reports.Support the BAU compliance function to ensure that the Regulatory Reporting functionality built and released quarterly under various change epics delivered by Finance Change comply with the reporting requirements as detailed under the Reporting Instructions and Reporting Regulations from the local or group regulator, as well as any additional Policy Interpretations provided by Group Reg. Policy or local policy representatives.The role will involve close liaison with the AD / VP leading BAU Regulatory Reporting & Calculation compliance in delivering the test scripts required to test the cases developed by the AD / VP, as well as execution of these test scripts in the test environment using SQL. Further, validate the test execution outcomes with expected results and identify any items which are not per expectation, with a view to determine whether these constitute non-compliance. Document the test cases and script execution results for presentation to stakeholders including Reporting Ops and Report Owners; provide feedback to the build & design teams in FCD in cases of re-build required for compliance.Required Skill SetTechnical SkillsExposure to Liquidity reports LCR, NSFR, Maturity ladders etc.Able to understand regulations on liquidity reporting and document test cases to test for compliance to regulations.An understanding of the principles of Finance data and reporting.Proficient in interrogating databases via SQL queries.Ability to interpret and use ETL documents and related SQL scripts to understand detailed data flows.Ability and motivation to understand banking products, particularly complex trading structures such as Repos, Collateral Swaps and derivatives.An understanding of systems delivery lifecycles and testing principles.Proficient in the use of test tools (such as Quality Centre) and test processes (e.g. defect management).Be able to formulate test strategies and confident in running a successful test phase.An appreciation of systems and data architectures.Competence with dealing with large complex datasets and using data analysis skills to formulate and interrogate the data to produce findings.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint).Documentation capability to document test case execution outcomes (including but not limited to the logic, filter criteria, data attributes, frequency requirements, static reference data requirements).Able to work at pace to ensure that quarterly cadence of delivery of change in liquidity reporting is maintained to ensure rapid feedback in case of any non-compliance.EducationEducated to minimum of graduate degree level or equivalent.Prior ExperienceFinancial Services Test Experience across both internal reporting and regulatory requirements.Experience in testing, driven by IT systems implementation or enhancement, across a large organisation.Experience of working in a large banking organisation preferred.Additional InformationWork Mode: HybridRequired QualificationAny Graduate,
