Job descriptionRole & responsibilities
• Leadership of the maintenance team to ensure plant assets and vessels remain in top condition and to improve plant reliability.
• Sharing of technical expertise to implement best maintenance practices, prepare Preventive Maintenance (PM)/ Predictive Maintenance (PdM) schedule to reduce breakdown, and minimize overall plant downtime through subsequent execution and spares management.
• Analysis of the upset/ failure of machinery and vessels through Root Cause Analysis RCA), and take corrective & preventive action for future to avoid recurrence of the problem and resolve chronic issues.
• Oversight to ensure that all activities of the maintenance team and associated contractors.
• Preparation and updation of all plant documentation including P&ID actualization, etc.
• Responsibility for safe startup, shutdown and overall maintenance of boiler and auxiliary systems (including fans, pumps, motors, conveying systems etc.).
• Responsibility for regular inspections to ensure all equipment and controls are operating properly, and scheduling and execution of maintenance activities during shutdown.
• Responsibility for maintenance of all electrical utilities in plant including motors, turbines, wiring, transformer, control panel, etc.
• Identification, planning and execution of savings initiatives in plant utilities
• Ability to take quick action during emergencies.
