Full job descriptionDesignation: Production Head / ManagerExperience: 5- 15 yrs (into wooden Furniture Manufacturing)Location: BhiwandiIndustry: Interior/ Furniture ManufacturingRole DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager (Furniture) at The Monarch Enterprises in Bhiwandi. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing production schedules, ensuring quality control, and optimizing processes to meet client requirements.Application ProcessPrepare production plan in coordination with Sales and design teamCoordinate with Purchase team on raw material. Guiding Purchase department for scheduling as the production planPrepare process flow, work instructions and continuously update the Sales, Design and Management on the progress of the projectManaging project deliverables in line with the project plan and review of drawing and specification for any queries and clarifications essential for productionEnsure production targets are met within the constraints of the budget and optimum production is achievedEnsure that the installations manufactured are of consistent qualityHighlight technical issues and recommend probable solutions to the Sales, design and ManagementAnalyze root cause for the rejections and the rework, customer feedback and ensure the systems are in place to prevent the re occurrenceMeasure the cycle time and reduce the same to improve productionDevice maintenance plan for the shop floorAnalyze requirement of new machinery to increase productivity/ new product line and accordingly present the case to Management for approval and purchaseTeam ManagementTrain the production team adequately on quality system, understanding of the design drawings, work instructions and quality check points To maintain shop floor discipline and housekeeping Motivate shop floor team and instill team work Train the team on quality and ensure that production down time is reduced and process capability is improved. Develop the production team to be multi skilled Periodically generating performance report of team & provide necessary feedback / mentoring/ assistance to upscale over all team performanceTeam Welfare - Grievance, Communication, Motivation & Attrition Management
