Job Description

A Real Estate Developer is responsible for overseeing a project from its conception to completion. They evaluate potential properties, manage the construction process, and negotiate contracts with contractors and vendors. They also consider factors of the environment and the community to ensure that the project adheres to local regulations and meets the needs of potential buyers or tenants.Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate potential properties for development and determine feasibility;
• Create and maintain development plans and schedules;
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals;
• Hire and manage contractors and vendors;
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and codes;
• Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process;
• Market and sell or lease the completed project;
• Maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and other stakeholders;
• Continually evaluate and improve project strategies and processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related field;
• Proven experience in real estate development or construction management;
• Strong finance and accounting skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Proficient in project management software and technology;
• Understanding of local zoning and building codes;
• Ability to negotiate contracts and manage budgets;
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
