Senior Marketing Communications ManagerPosting Location : Location US-RemotePosting date 6 hours ago(6/17/2022 6:53 AM)Job ID 95686 Workday ID R-025429 About the job The Red Hat Global Sales and Customer Success Communications team is looking for a Senior Marketing Communications Manager to join us. In this role, you will create and manage strategic communication programs, content, and leadership for the senior vice president of North America (NA) sales and the North America sales leadership team. You ll need to be an experienced communications professional with solid business insight pertaining to sales. You ll need to have knowledge of and experience with implementing change communications and supporting transformation initiatives. As a Senior Marketing Communications Manager, you will work across multiple teams and functions to build solid relationships and understand diverse perspectives. You ll report directly to the senior manager of global sales communications on the corporate communications team and you ll support the NA Sales team within field sales. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business. What you will do
• Create and manage internal messaging about the NA Sales team s strategy and vision; examples include newsletters, announcements, presentations, videos, blogs, intranet pages, and social media
• Serve as a trusted communications adviser to the senior vice president and executive leadership team for NA Sales
• Prepare executives for events by determining requirements for successful engagement,
• assembling content and messaging, reviewing critical talking points, and managing logistics
• Plan and support internal events, including employee all-hands meetings, group town halls, sales kickoff keynotes and sessions, and other speaking engagements
• Work closely with senior executives and subject matter experts to translate business and
• technical value propositions into compelling stories and visual concepts that are relevant
• to a broad audience
What you will bring
• 7+ years of experience creating and delivering communication strategies to inform and inspire associates to take action
• Motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to manage several projects and initiatives with multiple stakeholders
• Comfortable adapting to a shifting environment
• Extensive experience managing digital content and internet or intranet pages
• Proven writing and editing skills with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, direct, and lively style; ability to communicate findings in a simplified, but impactful way
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills
• Demonstrated consultation skills with all levels of leadership across the organization
• Experience with change management principles and incorporating change management into communication strategies
• Experience working in and supporting a matrixed organization
• Experience working in a large technical organization and communicating to a technical audience
• Ability to work in an often ambiguous, rapidly changing environment with minimal supervision and to manage multiple assignments
• Creativity and willingness to help to bring our culture to life in the way that we communicate and represent our organization, especially through executive-level internal activities
