Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities Create functional and regression test cases based on the business requirements Create the required test artefacts for release testing (Test Plan, Execution Report, Closure Report) Execute the test cases, analyze results and log/manage/track defects Collaborate with the Dev/BA team to understand the requirements and resolve the issues related to testing Update the regression test suite after each release Design test automation framework & scripts for the identified regression test cases using the project identified tools (UFT VB Script) Independently own the test activities (manual and automation) for the assigned area Classification : Internal Candidate with good knowledge in BFSI domain is desirable Must have good analytical skills. Good to have writing SQL queries for backend validation Strong knowledge of the complete QA cycle and experience with different types of testing, including experience with rigorous test case creation, maintenance and execution. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated Hands on experience on JIRA and Quality Centre / ALM Strong technical knowledge of UFT and VB Script to develop, maintain & execute regression test scripts Knowledge of UFT and JENKINS is desirable Perform other testing-related duties as required Contributing Responsibilities Contribute towards process improvements Support the various initiatives identified for the project Contribute towards knowledge management Technical & Behavioral Competencies Complete knowledge of Manual testing concepts and methodologies as well as testing techniques. Working knowledge of functional, regression, E2E/Integration testing within applications FIX Protocol UNIX SQL JIRA Agile Team player Positive attitude Flexible Putty ,
