Your RoleAs a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and helping prevent workplace incidents through proactive risk management and employee engagement.Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and enforce workplace health and safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety assessments
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee safety training
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company HSE standards
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and regulatory documentation
• Support emergency response planning and evacuation procedures
• Promote employee awareness of safe work practices and hazard reporting
• Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and operational teams to improve safety performance
• Participate in risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and safety meetings
