Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Sales:
    • Identify potential customers in the industrial automation sector and generate leads.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and decision-makers.
    • Promote the companys automation products, systems, and solutions to customers.
    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals successfully.
    2. Technical Expertise & Support:
    • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable industrial automation solutions.
    • Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to prepare proposals and quotations.
    • Provide technical support to clients during pre- and post-sales stages.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analysis to justify the adoption of automation solutions.
    3. Market Analysis & Strategy:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
    • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to refine offerings.
    • Assist in creating sales strategies, including pricing, promotions, and positioning.
    4. Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM software.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
    5. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and efficiently.
    • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
    • Conduct periodic follow-ups to ensure long-term business relationships.
    Qualifications & Requirements:A. Education:
    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field).
    • MBA in Marketing/Sales is a plus.
    B. Experience:
    • For Sales Engineer:4-8 years of experience in sales of industrial automation products or systems.
    • For Senior Sales Engineer:8 - 10years of proven sales experience in industrial automation.
    • Experience in sectors like manufacturing, process automation, robotics, or factory automation preferred.
    C. Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation systems, PLCs, SCADA, sensors, and drives.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
    • Analytical mindset with a customer-centric approach.
    • Knowledge of local and international automation standards is an advantage.
    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
    • Achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
    • Growth in customer base and market share.
    • Timely resolution of customer queries and concerns.
    • Quality and accuracy of technical proposals and presentations.
    • Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
