    Job summaryJoin a team thats building next generation, highly scalable products and services using the AWS cloud, workflows and Java. Our Web portals and services will drive new customer experiences for the Amazon Digital products such as Amazon Prime, Kindle eBooks, Amazon Video, Digital Music, and much more.The Digital Accounting and Royalty Technologies team ensures the simplification and automation of complex royalty payment and accounting rules, allowing digital businesses to eliminate their financial risk and focus on delighting their customers instead. Royalty services allow businesses to pay content-providers accurately, completely and on-time. Accounting services ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately, promptly, and completely.We need an experienced Product Manager to be the product leader for the Digital Accounting space. This role is responsible for development of business-critical features to compute and maintain financial record keeping for Digital businesses in a self-service way. In this role, you will be creating the strategy for the entire space of Digital business Accounting and work with multiple teams to deliver the charter. You will create 3+ year vision for this space and influence Digital businesses such as Books, Music, Video, Appstore, various Alexa teams and Accounting stakeholders. You will be interfacing and influencing both partner teams within Amazon and external partners., BE/MBA degree or equivalent with 7+ years of professional experience Ability to persuade and influence others using verbal and written communication techniques Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills Track record of solving complex challenges and completing medium to large-scale projects from initiation to delivery Strong technical understanding of distributed systems and be able to recommend design/architectural solutions that aligns with the product vision ability to provide technical recommendations for a scalable product and contribute in technical decisionsExposure to Accounting domain High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one s sleeves to get the job done.
