Job Description

    Roles and ResponsibilitiesSenior T24 Technical Support EngineerRole & ResponsibilitiesUndertake any local development, including enhancements to the user interface (Temenos UXP Browser), interfacing to external systems, data conversion and system integration aspects of the solution. Work with other Technical Consultants to resolve cross-technical issues. Contribute to the planning process, providing activity estimates and liaise with the Temenos support groups to ensure technical issues are understood and resolved. Follow the scope and clear business objectives of the project and the critical success factors of implementation project. Analyse and Design client Integration Requirements. Contribute to client Testing. Provide regular update and feedback to the RTE and/or Lead Technical Architect on implementation success, potential delays and resources needs adjustments in order to achieve project goals. Supervise, if and when needed over specific technical parts of the functional design of the solution. To design viable technical solutions compatible with business solutions, agreed requirements, contractual obligations and project plans. To identify, evaluate and offer mitigation strategies for technical risks. Working closely with Client, project team members and Regional and Local development teams (L2 & L3) to develop a robust and viable architecture related to customer value and business benefit. Taking ownership for applying leading practice in terms of methodology and component re-use. Coaching and mentoring of Technical Consultants. Providing advice and guidance to the Client on environment management and release control between various pre-live environments. Supporting Non-functional (NFT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where required from a continuity perspective on projects. Liaising with the TEMENOS maintenance groups to ensure that the product problems identified are understood and resolved. Skills Required T24 Build and Deployment Support COB Administration T24 L3 Coding, OFS and TAFJ Well versed in the new Temenos Browser - UXPB Temenos Tech. Framework Temenos Design Studio Understands the Temenos COB Management module Understand the detailed process work flow on COB Module Understand the COB Multi-threading, COB Processing and Global Processing Knows how to apply Temenos Updates Knows how to perform Temenos Upgrades Familiar with AA Experience in IRIS and IRIS R18 is a must. Knowledge and experience in IF, DES and LSM is a plus. Knowledge in UXP and UA is a plus. Solid knowledge and experience with Oracle stack (Database, Weblogic, Oracle Service Bus) Solid experience in Linux management and processing Solid experience in multi-server farms management Experience with application virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, .) Experience in deploying Java applications Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills Application development or engineering experience Hands on J2EE operations experience Expertise in scripting using a variety of tools (shell, bash, perl, python, .) Practical knowledge of Functional and Non-Functional Testing Experience implementing logging and monitoring tools like Splunk,
