Webmethods Support/Enhancement EngineerDescriptionThe AIS group works on latest Integration Platforms and Tools to bring to assist digital transformations for our clients. We look for candidates who have sound background in Integration fundamentals and expertise on cloud-based Integration Platforms.The Webmethods Engineer is an experienced multi-skilled professional, with hands on experience in Webmethods development. He/she is a good team player, who is part of a team responsible for delivering end-to-end application development services to customers. He/she collaborates with professionals in the regional and worldwide DXC Application Services community to leverage modern solutions and brings Webmethods expertise to ensure Integration applications are developed as per Solution & Design.The main goal is to ensure DXC delivers application integration services and to continuously improve our maturity in processes and technology, resulting in best in class technology implementation.The Engineer is motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills.As a team member, good exposure will be provided to you on latest Integration technologies like, DellBoomi, Azure and SnapLogic.Responsibilities
• Understand technical architecture of application.
• Analysis functional requirements.
• Prepare the End to End Solution aligning to customer strategy.
• High Level and Low-Level Design preparation.
• Carry out enhancements to existing module in the applications.
• Develop and implement the changes required in the applications.
• Preparation of Technical implementation plan.
• Support on Deployment activities during the release.
• Provide support for existing webMethods environment by handling incidents,
troubleshooting, and monitoring the flow of messages as needed.Desired Skills and Qualifications
• webMethods version 10.x (Integration Server, My webMethods Server, Trading Networks, Broker Messaging, webMethods Adapters, Terracotta, ebXML Gateways and Command Central).
• Database - oracle, mssql, mysql
• Protocols - http, https, sftp, ftp, TCP
• Unix / Linux and Shell Scripting
• Custom code development using java
Nice to have skills:
• Knowledge / Development experience on Cloud Azure/Microsoft Dynamics 365
