Job Description

P2 C1 STSWe are looking for a skilled and proactive AWS Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in Node.js to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep, optimization, and troubleshooting of our AWS-based infrastructure, while also supporting backend services built on Node.js. Resource will provide technical support and troubleshooting for our AWS cloud-based applications built using Node.js. A strong understanding of AWS services, Node.js application architecture, and debugging skills are crucial.Responsibilities

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure and services.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFormation, etc.
  • Maintain and monitor AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot backend issues, particularly those involving Node.js microservices or APIs.
  • Handle CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Maintain logging and monitoring systems (CloudWatch).
  • Respond to and resolve incidents in production environments quickly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as CloudWatch.

Detailed JD
  • AWS Lambda: Create lambda function with all the security in place.
  • Proficiency in Node.js (should have developed services, developed unit and integration testing).
  • Strong notions of security best practices (e.g., using IAM Roles, KMS, Pseudonymisation etc.).
  • Swagger hub defined the services on swagger hub.
  • Serverless approaches using AWS Lambda. For example, the Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM).
  • Must have hands-on experience of RDS, Kafka, ELB, Secret Manager, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and Event Bridge services.
  • Knowledge of writing unit test cases using Mocha framework.
  • Must have knowledge of encryption & decryption of PII data and files in transit and at rest.
  • Should have knowledge of CDK (Cloud Development Kit).
  • Knowledge of creating SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, API Gateway using CDK.
  • Serverless stack Lambda API Gateway Step functions coding in Node.js.
  • Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • CDK: Advanced networking concepts, Transit Gateway, VPC endpoints, Multi-account connectivity.
