Job Description

ETL DeveloperP1 C1 STSRole DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle PLSQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing PLSQL code for large-scale databases. As a Senior Oracle Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring database performance and scalability.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Oracle PLSQL code (procedures, functions, triggers, and packages) to support enterprise-level applications.
  • Perform database tuning and optimization to improve performance of PLSQL code and SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
  • Participate in data modeling, database architecture, and design reviews.
  • Review and optimize existing PLSQL code for performance improvements and maintainability.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Ensure code quality by conducting thorough code reviews and maintaining coding standards.
  • Maintain and ensure proper documentation of development processes, architecture, and procedures.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure the developed code meets functional and performance requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in database development and PLSQL programming.
Required Skills
  • Strong expertise in Oracle databases (Oracle 11g, 12c, or higher).
  • Proficient with Oracle development tools such as SQL*Plus, TOAD, or similar tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, database design, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
