Creates, removes, and expands file systems and volumes on multi-vendor products. Provides SAN switch / director monitoring, configuration, and support for cisco and brocade products. Works with senior peers to develop change management procedures. Creates and maintains documentation. Provides assistance with system solution design. May require rotating 24x7 on-call support responsibility as well as weekend support. Performs other related duties as assigned. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Effective fluent communication and team skills with an ability to cooperate present to and participate with peers/team members Advanced knowledge of storage arrays, fabrics, and HBA NetApp and Compellent arrays IBM XIV, SVC Virtualization products. Cisco/Brocade Experience on working with All Flash or latest storage products for performance issues. Basic knowledge of operating systems and systems administration concepts Windows, Unix, Linux systems Knowledge and experience with data replication concepts and tools Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and technologies as well as a personal commitment to stay current with latest technology concepts Good problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills Identifies and resolves less clearly defined problems using established procedures and/or protocols as guidelines FIS is the worlds largest global provider dedicated to financial technology solutions.
